Abdurrahman Mansour Akrami

Abdurrahman Mansour Akrami (Arabic: عبد الرحمن منصور أكرامي; b. 22 February 1977 in Beit Bezra) is a Palestinian former firefighter and fire inspector who has served since 2018 as Chief of Operations of the Capital Metropolitan Fire & Rescue Service (CMFRS). Akrami spent four years studying at the Arson Investigation Institute of Gamal Abdel Nasser University from 2003 to 2007, after which he spent 11 years as a fire investigator for the CMFRS before being promoted to Chief of Operations in 2018.

Akrami is married and has four school-aged children, the eldest of whom was recently accepted into Gamal Abdel Nasser Medical School. He resides with his family in the Nasser City borough of Khastakhanat al-Ayatallah, and also owns a country home near Zahlé, Lebanon.
