Corrections Alaska, officially the Alaska Correctional Service, is an agency of the provincial government of the Canadian province of Alaska, subordinate to the Ministry of Justice. Corrections Alaska is responsible for the administration of all provincial (non-federal) prisons, remand centres and other detention facilities in the province, as well as ensuring the health and safety of all inmates and administering the provincial parole and probation program. Corrections Alaska currently operates two minimum-security prisons for men, one minimum-security prison for women, a regular prison for both men and women (segregated), and a maximum security prison for men only. Corrections Alaska also operates a psychiatric hospital and pharmacy.
