Members of the Tertiary Reserve are only called upon for active duty after the Primary Reserve and Secondary Reserve are nearing or have reached utter exhaustion while the Arab Army simultaneously requires yet more servicemembers. As of March 2021, the Tertiary Reserve has 273,575 members, making it the smallest of the Arab Army's three reserve components.
