The Attorney General of Vancouver Island is the justice minister of the Canadian province of Vancouver Island, who leads the Ministry of Justice of Vancouver Island; the ministry is responsible for public prosecution at the provincial level as well as overseeing the Vancouver Island Provincial Police (VIPP) via the Vancouver Island Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), and acting as the senior legal advisor to the provincial government of Vancouver Island. The Attorney General is a senior-ranking member of the Cabinet of the Premier of Vancouver Island.

The Solicitor General of Vancouver Island is the official deputy of the Attorney General, and the second-highest ranking member of the ministry. The Solicitor General of Vancouver Island oversees the components of the law enforcement and justice system of the province as delegated at the discretion of the Attorney General, namely law enforcement agencies other than the Provincial Police (namely the Vancouver Island Sheriff Service and Vancouver Island Correctional Service) as well as other areas of the law enforcement and provincial justice system as directed by the Attorney General.
