The Fresh Start Program (French: Programme du nouveau départ) is a national witness protection and relocation program operated by the Canada Sheriff Service (CSS), the premier special law enforcement and political agency of the Canadian Republic. The Fresh Start Program answers to a CSS lieutenant-deputy, but is staffed mostly by civilians who are experts in constructing new, comprehensive identities and lives for those persons at risk due to their participation in the justice or political system.

The Fresh Start Program has moved over 11,300 families across the country and some even internationally, and since it became operational in 1988, has had zero clients knowingly discovered by the entities from which they were hiding, making the Fresh Start Program one of the best of its kind in the world.
