The Canada Line is one of five lines of the SkyTrain system of rapid transit, and the third-longest, at 40.23 km in length. Its terminus stations are Waterfront Station in Downtown Vancouver, and Terminal Station at the Georgia Ferries terminal in Tsawwassen.

Between Waterfront Station and Marine Drive Station (the section traversing Vancouver and Marpole, just before the line crosses the North Arm of the Fraser River), the Canada Line is a subway (underground) line; it rises from underground to an overhead line (SkyTrain proper) on its approach to Marine Drive Station, whence it continues as an overhead or at times ground-level (yet grade-separated) line until its terminus at Tsawwassen Terminal Station.

The Canada Line connects the municipalities of Vancouver (downtown and uptown), Marpole, Richmond, Steveston, Ladner, Delta and Tsawwassen.
