The Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) is a federal Canadian agency subordinate to Public Security Canada, which maintains a rapidly updated, open-source online database of all police and police-accessible records and information collected by all civilian police agencies in the country as well as participating counties like the United States and members of Europol.

The CPIC basically allows for all Canadian police agencies, whether local county constabularies, provincial police, or federal agencies like the RCMP, to have equal, instant access to as wide a range of police-collected and -relevant information as possible in the course of daily operations. Therefore, instead of each police agency in Canada having its own internal database, all civilian police agencies in Canada utilise the same, wide-ranging database as provided, updated and maintained by the CPIC.
