Capilano County Department of Justice

The Capilano County Department of Justice (CPCDJ) is an executive department of the Capilano County Council. It is responsible for the administration of justice and the county level and the municipal level for all municipalities of Capilano County.

The Capilano County Department of Justice consists of three primary agencies:

Other offices[edit | edit source]

  • CPCDJ Legal Office: Responsible for representing the Capilano County Department of Justice and its employees in court and other legal proceedings;
  • CPCDJ Budget Office: Responsible for drafting, publishing and implementing the annual department budget on advice of the Capilano County Secretary of Justice.
  • CPCDJ Media Relations Office: Responsible for handling media and public relations for the department;
  • CPCDJ Human Resources Office: Handles the hiring, training, compensation, discipline, termination, and psychological/therapeutical counselling of department personnel;
  • CPCDJ Police Liaison Office: Responsible for liaising between the department and the Lower Mainland Constabulary, as well less frequently with the BC Sheriff Service and the RCMP;
  • CPCDJ Office of Hardware and IT: Responsible for the procuring and maintenance of all hardware (vehicles, firearms, computers, etc.) and software used by all department personnel.
