The Capital District Metropolitan Municipal Corporation (French: Corporation métropolitaine municipale du District capital) is the statutory authority and incorporated municipality responsible for the sixteen boroughs of Ottawa, the federal capital and fourth-most populous city of Canada; as Ottawa is administratively separate from any of Canada's 13 provinces or five territories, its boroughs are administered via the metropolitan government's devolved authority from the Parliament of Canada, similar to the process by which Canada's five territories are afforded province-like autonomy (as opposed to the provinces, which according to the constitution share sovereignty equally with the federation).

According to statute passed by the Parliament of Canada, the Capital District Metropolitan Municipal Corporation is administered by the Ottawa Metropolitan Council, which is led by the popularly-elected Mayor of Ottawa. The sixteen boroughs each have their own elected local council, which may bring issues before the Office of the Mayor at annual plenary sessions of all borough and metropolitan officials.
