Christian II (b. Christós August Aunmhalom; 14 April 1536—30 September 1616) was King of Atlantica Alba and the Personal Realms from 22 January 1550 until his death in 1616, reigning for a total of 66 years, the longest known reign of any Alban monarch; however, Christian was only 13 upon ascending the throne (which he inherited upon the death of his childless maternal uncle, King Peter), and was thus compelled to cede his executive authority to a regent (Maliaeím mhAennós) until his eighteenth birthday in 1554, although Andrew did not gain full control of his government until 1557. He was succeeded by his son Christian III upon his death during the Battle of Milo Mills. Christian II was the first monarch of the House of Avalon.
