The Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (French: Commissaire de la Police montée royale canadienne) is the highest-ranking sworn constable of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the premier federal law enforcement agency of Canada. The Commissioner of the RCMP oversees a single Deputy Commissioner, who is responsible for taking on much of the Commissioner's administrative and operational responsibilities that the Commissioner may freely participate in the many various political and social engagements required of a law enforcement executive, as well as several Assistant Commissioners, most of whom each oversee a particular operational division within the force.

The Commissioner of the RCMP is appointed by and directly answerable to the Solicitor General of Canada, the minister of the Crown in charge of Public Security Canada, the executive department of the Canadian federal government responsible for domestic security and federal law enforcement activities. All lower ranks of the RCMP are appointed by the Commissioner, or by lower-ranking constables with the Commissioner's permission.
