Coquitlam is the administrative seat and most populous municipality of Coquitlam County, in the Canadian province of British Columbia's ceremonial county of the Lower Mainland. In December 2020, Coquitlam had an estimated population of 633,400. Along with Port Coquitlam and Port Moody, the three cities are known collectively as the Tri-Cities; they account for over three quarters of the total population of Coquitlam County.
