Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Corrections Directorate of Syria (Arabic: ادارة السجون السورية idārat as-sujūn as-sūrīyah) is the government agency responsible for the administration, supervision and safety of all civilian and non-federal prisons located within the Syrian Arab Republic, one of the 20 republics of the Arab Union. The Corrections Directorate is led by Director of Corrections Zaid Keshishian, who answers to the Syrian Minister of Interior Mohammed Khaled Rahmoun.
