Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Council of Ministers of Morocco (Arabic: مجلس وزراء المغرب majlis wuzrā’ al-maghrib) is the executive branch of the republican government of Morocco, officially the Moroccan Arab Republic, one of 20 republics of the Arab Union. It is ultimately accountable to the Moroccan Arab Congress, the elected legislative branch at the republican level of government. The Council of Ministers is chaired by the Premier of Morocco, and meets in Rabat. The Moroccan government handles most domestic matters, while foreign affairs, customs and immigration, the military, and the national single-payer healthcare system are the responsibility of the Arab Union federal government, which is led by the Prime Minister of the Arab Union.
