Crown Attorney of British Columbia

The Crown Attorney of British Columbia is the third-highest ranking member of the Ministry of Justice of the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC), an executive department of the Cabinet of BC. The Crown Attorney is responsible to the Attorney General of BC who leads the Ministry of Justice, and handles the vast majority of prosecutions of charges before court at the provincial level, either personally or via one of his/her many Deputy Crown Attorneys. The Crown Attorney of BC leads the BC Crown Prosecution Authority, a department of the BC Ministry of Justice.
