Jump to navigationJump to searchDeir el-Ghosoun (also romanised Dayr al-Ghusun; Arabic: دير الغصون) is a town of 6,117 people located in Tulkarm Municipality, Palestinian Arab Republic, Arab Union, located in the north-central region of Palestine. It is the birthplace and hometown of incumbent Minister of Trade Salam Fayyad. It is a major commuter town of Tulkarm City, the largest city and administrative seat of the namesake municipality, which is located approx. 8 km southwest of Deir el-Ghosoun.
