The Deputy Chief Constable of the British Columbia Provincial Police (DCC) is the second-highest ranking sworn constable (police officer) of the British Columbia Provincial Police (BCPP), the primary law enforcement agency of the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC). The Deputy Chief Constable is appointed by and responsible to the Chief Constable, and along with the Chief Constable, is one of only two ranks in the BCPP which may be held only by a single constable at a time, with the next rank of Assistant Chief Constable (ACC) the highest rank to allow multiple simultaneous holders (usually 7 to 10).

The Deputy Chief Constable is responsible for assisting the Chief Constable in leading the constabulary, ensuring the Chief Constable's directives and orders are forwarded to the appropriate Assistant Chief Constable and right down to the right unit(s). The Deputy Chief Constable is also regularly tasked with leading the BCPP in place of the Chief Constable, allowing the latter to attend various official social and political engagements required of a senior government member. According to the British Columbia Police Act, the Deputy Chief Constable becomes Acting Chief Constable in the event of the death or incapacitation of the Chief Constable, until the appointment of a new Chief Constable by the Attorney General on advice of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
