The Deputy Chief Constable of the Toronto Metropolitan Police Service is the second-highest ranking member of Canada's largest local civilian police force, the Toronto Metropolitan Police. The Deputy Chief Constable is appointed by and directly accountable to the Chief Constable, whose routine responsibilities the Deputy Chief Constable often handles in order to provide the Chief Constable enough time to engage in various diplomatic events and appearances expected of the executive leader of a large police department. The incumbent Deputy Chief Constable is Martin Shapiro, in office since March 2019.

Unlike the ranks of Chief Constable and Deputy Chief Constable, the third-highest rank of Assistant Chief Constable can be held by more than one individual at a time (currently 15), all of whom are accountable ultimately to the Chief Constable, usually via the Deputy Chief Constable, who recommends officers for promotion to Assistant Chief Constable to the Chief Constable, who makes the ultimate decision.
