Deputy Director of the British Columbia Civil Service

The Deputy Director of the British Columbia Civil Service is the second-highest ranking civil servant in the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC), responsible for the routine leadership and administration of the British Columbia Civil Service (BCCS), the civil service commission of the provincial government of BC. Answerable only to the Director of the British Columbia Civil Service, who is the official head of the BCCS but also has responsibilities to the Premier of BC and his cabinet, the Director delegates most of his executive responsibilities toward the BCCS to the Deputy Director.
