The Deputy Premier of British Columbia is the deputy head of government of the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC). The Deputy Premier is the deputy of the Premier of BC, and acts on the Premier's behalf when the Premier is unable to attend functions normally executed by the Premier. The current incumbent Deputy Premier of BC is Carole James. The Deputy Premier of BC is formally appointed by the Deputy President of BC on advice of the Premier.
