Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Deputy Premier of Ontario (French: Premier(ère) ministre-adjoint(e) de l'Ontario) is the deputy-head of government of the Canadian province of Ontario. The Deputy Premier of Ontario is appointed by the Deputy President of Ontario on advice of the Premier of Ontario, and serves as the Premier's main deputy, becoming acting premier in the event of the sitting premier's death or incapacitation until the appointment of a new premier.
