Jump to navigationJump to searchDeclan Donald Gillespie (b. 3 June 1963 in Toronto) is a Canadian police officer and former captain in the Royal Canadian Gendarmerie, who has served since 15 July 2018 as Chief Constable of the Toronto Metropolitan Police, the largest local civilian police force in Canada. He joined the Toronto Metro Police in September 1996 shortly after retiring from the Gendarmerie, following the end of the Quebec War in April of the same year.
