Gulf Region (Arab Union)

The Gulf Region (Arabic: بلاد الخليج bilād al-khalīj) is one of the four unofficial regions of the Arab Union. It consists of the 8 republics of the Arab Union located on or near the Persian Gulf, most of which rely heavily on their vast oil reserves for their economies.

The Gulf Region consists of the following republics: Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, Peninsular Republic, Gulf Republic, Oman and Yemen.
