Horseshoe Bay

Horseshoe Bay is a municipality surrounded by some smaller unincorporated communities located in the northwest of the Lower Mainland, British Columbia, Canada. It is a major headquarters of GS Ferries, a state enterprise owned jointly by the provincial governments of both British Columbia and Vancouver Island.

GS Ferries employs walk-on for all ferry routes and automobile-accessible on medium and large ferries. The Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal occupies nearly a third of the total community waterfront. The rest of the waterfront is home to condominiums, and further up the hillside sit several houses; Horseshoe Bay as a municipality has a population of over 55,304 according to the 2021 census.
