The Iraqi Arab Republic (Arabic: الجمهورية العربية العراقية al-jumhūriyah al-‘arabīyah al-‘irāqīyah), informally known as Iraq (العراق al-‘irāq), is one of the 20 republics of the Arab Union. Its capital and largest city is Baghdad, which is also the Arab Union's second-most populous city, after Cairo.
