The Jerusalem–Jaffa Metropolitan Area (Arabic: منطقة القدس – يافا المتروبولية munṭaqat al-quds–yāfā al-mītrūbūlīyah) is the largest combined metropolitan statistical area of the Republic of Palestine, stretching from the capital city of Jerusalem northwest through Ramla, Lodd, Khalidia and Ayoun Kara to the city of Jaffa on the Mediterranean coast. In 2018, it was home to approximately 11.6 million people, over a third the total national population of Palestine.
