The Manitoba Provincial Police (MPP) is the primary civilian law enforcement agency in the Canadian province of Manitoba, responsible for regular law enforcement at both the provincial level and at the local government level on a contract basis. All upper-tier, lower-tier and single-tier municipalities in Manitoba are policed by a locally contracted detachment of the MPP, which thus acts as the law enforcement agency of primary and initial interaction for the majority of the population of Manitoba.

While the Manitoba Provincial Police administers its own jails, all non-federal prisons and remand centres in the province are administered by a separate agency called the Manitoba Correctional Service, and the actual transportation of person already under arrest between police jails and prisons, remand centres, court or other institutions is the responsibility of the Manitoba Sheriff Service, which also provides security, bailiff and some administrative duties for the provincial (non-federal) courts in the province, serves court-issued warrants and assists the Manitoba Provincial Police where necessary, and manages the security of senior members of the provincial government and persons in the provincial judicial system.
