This article is about the island in the West Indies; for the French archipelago in the South Pacific, see Marquesas Islands.

Marquesa is a high island in the Lesser Antilles. It is the second-largest and second-most populous island of the Commonwealth of Antilla, after Santa Maria. Its population accounts for approximately 25% of the total population of Antilla. Marquesa forms the eastern boundary of English Bay, whose northwestern boundary is formed by Santa Maria and southwestern boundary by Parmesa. The mountainous northeastern two thirds of Marquesa are sparsely populated and mostly covered in lush tropical rainforest, while the flatter southwestern third (especially the coast on English Bay) is home to most of the island's population, concentrated in and around the city of Torres.
