In Kilmark–Killarney, a sovereign state and dual monarchy in maritime Western Europe, which consists of the coequal Kingdoms of Killarney and of Kilmark, a member of Parliament (Killarne: aillúdh Parleménntha; Killian: ailaidd Parlaimainnai; abbr. AP) is an elected politician holding a single seat in either the Parliament of Killarney or the Parliament of Kilmark.

Each member of Parliament represents an riding (electoral district) of roughly equal population, and is elected exclusively by the voting constituents of that riding. The political party or coalition with the most elected members of Parliament has constitutional mandate to form the executive government, namely the Cabinet of Killarney or the Cabinet of Kilmark. The governing party will nominate either its leader or another senior member (either of whom must hold a seat in Parliament) for the position of Prime Minister (head of government, who is then officially appointed as such by the monarch of Kilmark–Killarney.

Once appointed, the new Prime Minister begins to form his cabinet by nominating other party or coalition members to various cabinet roles, namely, Deputy Prime Minister, ministers of the Crown, and junior cabinet ministers and other executive officials, all of whom are ceremonially appointed by the monarch on advice of the Prime Minister.
