The Metropolitan Correctional Service (MCS; French: Service correctionnel métropolitain, SCM) is an agency of the Ottawa Department of Justice answerable to the Solicitor General of Ottawa. It is responsible for the operation of all non-federal prisons and secure institutions within Ottawa, a federal district which is the capital of Canada and the country's fourth-most populous city.

The Metropolitan Correctional Service currently operates five prisons: two exclusively for male inmates, one with a mixed (though separated) male/female population, one juvenile institution with separate male and female areas, and a maximum security prison for serious offenders, separated by gender. The MCS also operates a psychiatric facility and educational programs within its institutions, and administered the city's metropolitan (non-federal) parole and probation system.
