The Ministry of Energy (Arabic: وزارة الطاقة wazārat aṭ-ṭāqah) is a federal executive department under the Council of Ministers of the Arab Union, responsible for the development, maintenance and supervision of all facilities and infrastructure in the fields of power generation and fuel production, and commissioning relevant research and development.

The Ministry of Energy owns and (directly or indirectly) operates all hydroelectric dams, geothermal power stations, nuclear power plants and photovoltaic power stations (solar parks) in the country, as well as power storage facilities, substations and other elements which comprise the entirety of the national electrical grid, the maintenance and expansion of which is handled exclusively by the ministry.

The Ministry of Energy has its headquarters at 400 Shahid Mohsen Jarallah Street in the government precinct of Bab el-Mutasarref, Nasser City. Mustafa Salim Zanoun has served as Minister of Energy since 10 March 2015.
