Ministry of Developmental Cooperation (Denmark)
The Ministry of Developmental Cooperation (Danish: Udviklingsministeriet) is an executive department of the Cabinet of Denmark. It is primarily responsible for the practical development and supervision of Danish national policy regarding economic development.
The Minister of Developmental Aid is served by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The office was established by the Poul Nyrup Rasmussen government in 25 January 1993 with Helle Degn as Prime Minister. The current minister is Flemming Møller Mortensen, who has been in office since 19 November 2020.
The Ministry is responsible for conducting the national household census each decade, as well as keeping up-to-date statistics of the national economy and the development and investment projects of the government.
