Operation Evergreen

Operation Evergreen, formerly Operation Olive Branch, is an ongoing joint Lower Mainland ConstabularyBC Sheriff Service deep cover operation, involving the infiltration at higher ranks of many British Columbia gangs, including the Fighting Irish, the Mafia and the Red Scorpions, as well as exposing corruption within law enforcement enabling organised crime. It was initiated in January 2010 by Internal Affairs, Unit 9 (IA9) of the Lower Mainland Constabulary (LMC), and is run as a joint IA9–Criminal Intel Office (LMC) and Special Organised Crime Task Force (BC Sheriff Service, Div. A) operation. As of 2020 it involves at least 330 active officers.
