Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Palestinian dinar (Arabic: دينار فلسطينية dīnār falasṭīnīyah) is the currency of the Republic of Palestine. It was officially adopted on 25 February 1953, replacing the Palestine pound. It is subdivided into 10 dirham and 100 fils. The official currency code of the Palestinian dinar is PSD.
The Palestinian dinar has been pegged to the euro since March 1999, before which it was pegged to the pound sterling. The current exchange rate is PSD 1.00 = EUR 0.0774 (December 2017), which is approximately PSD 1.00 = USD 0.09.
