Portua Metropolitan Area

The Portua Metropolitan Area is an urban agglomeration of one million people centred on the city of Portua, the capital, most populous city, and primary port of the Duchy of Biscay. It is located on the northern quarter of the duchy's main island of Santua.

Estates[edit | edit source]

The Duchy of Biscay is divided into 30 local government areas officially called estates, Portua proper being the most populous. Portua's metropolitan area consists of seven individual estates, most of which are totally urbanised. The table below lists the metropolitan area's seven estates in descending order by population, according to the December 2020 census:
