The Premier of Ontario (French: Premier(ère) ministre de l'Ontario) is the head of government of Ontario, the most populous Canadian province. The Premier of Ontario chairs the Ontario Executive Council, the top executive body of the Government of Ontario, which also consists of the Assembly of Ontario (the legislative branch) and the Supreme Court of Ontario (the highest institution within the province's judicial branch).

The Premier of Ontario is elected via the parliamentary procedure: the political party or coalition of parties holding a majority in the Assembly of Ontario nominates an individual (typically their leader) as Premier of Ontario, who is confirmed by the Deputy President of Ontario.
