Prime Minister of Denmark

The Prime Minister of Denmark is the head of government of both the Kingdom of Denmark and the Danish Realm. The Prime Minister is the leader of the party or coalition holding a majority or at least the confidence of the Danish parliament, and is appointed by the Queen of Denmark on advice of Parliament. Each Prime Minister's term is four years, with no limit on the number of terms served, consecutive or otherwise. The current Prime Minister of Denmark is Mette Frederiksen, in office since June 2019.
