The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the primary law enforcement agency of the Canadian province of Ontario (which is responsible for all provincial- and local-level policing throughout the province), divides its operations into six regional divisions. Each regional division covers a particular geographical area of the province, with Ontario's administrative counties and regional municipalities each covered by a particular regional division. The largest regional division by population (yet smallest by area) is the Capital Regional Division, while the smallest by population yet largest by area is the Northern Regional Division, the latter of which covers more land area than all five other regional divisions combined.
