The River Sharkas (Arabic: نهر شركس nahr sharkas, Hebrew: נהר שרכש nahar sharkas) is a tributary of the River Jordan. Beginning where underground second half of Wadi Jouf meets the surface, the river zigzags through the Nasser City districts of Bab al-Mutasarrif, Bustan as-Sultan, Jannat as-Sanjak and Beit Zera, running a total of 3114 kilometres before joining the Jordan.
