Corraineid, officially the Royal City of Corraineid (Killarne: Chmouneid Riollí Corraneida), is the county seat and most populous of the 10 districts of County Corrain, Killarney, home to 140,155 people according to the December 2020 census. It is home to the Corrain Council which meets in the Corrain Civil Forum, and is also home to other attractions such as Corrain Castle, one of six royal residences currently in use in Killarney and the primary summer residence of the Monarchy of Kilmark–Killarney and the royal family due to Corraineid's location in the cooler Eastern Uplands, as well as the Cathedral of Our Lady the Rosary, the eleventh-largest Catholic cathedral in Killarney and fifteenth-largest religious structure overall, and seat of the Diocese of Corrain, which consists of the entirety of County Corrain and much of neighbouring County Nolan.
