The Supreme Court of Kilmark (Killian: Chairlais Bairrai Killmairchai) is the final appelate court and highest court within the national judicial system of the Kingdom of Kilmark. Immediately subordinate to the Supreme Court of Kilmark is the Kilmark Court of Appeal, the Kilmark National Tribunal Service and finally the 18 county courts of each of Kilmark's 18 counties. Verdicts of a county court or a national tribunal may be appealed first in the Kilmark Court of Appeal, and ultimately in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is only the first to hear the most serious cases with multi-county and/or national implications, with most cases coming under national jurisdiction instead heard by a national tribunal. Verdicts of national tribunals can also be appealed in the Court of Appeal and finally the Supreme Court.
