Tahia Kazem

Tahia Kazem (Arabic: تحية كاظم) was the wife of first President of the Arab Union Gamal Abdel Nasser, to whom she was married from 1944 until Nasser's death in 1970. From 1958, Kazem served as inaugural First Lady of the Arab Union, and was succeeded by Anisa Makhlouf upon the start of her husband Hafez al-Assad's presidency.
