The Transit Patrol Directorate (TPD) is one of the ten directorates of the Lower Mainland Constabulary (LMC), the municipal police force and primary law enforcement agency of the [[Lower Mainland][, the most populous region/county in the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC), which forms the bulk of the metropolitan area centred on Vancouver, the most important port city on Canada's West Coast.

The Transit Patrol Directorate functions much the same as the constabulary's larger Patrol Directorate but is instead responsible for patrolling the extensive public transit system covering the Lower Mainland, including the Translink bus system of over 300 regular routes and 15 express routes, and the Skytrain system of nine individual rapid transit lines. The Translink system is provided immediate first response to emergency and non-emergency calls relating to suspected or confirmed security concerns regarding transit passengers, personnel, trains and buses, and/or other property by the Transit Patrol Directorate; long-distance buses and trains originating in Vancouver which terminate outside the Lower Mainland are instead patrolled by the Transportation Safety Division of the British Columbia Provincial Police, as is the transit system located outside the Lower Mainland operated by BC Transit.

The headquarters of the Transit Patrol Directorate is located at Burrard Street Station in Downtown Vancouver. Waterfront Station, the busiest transit station in the lower mainland and terminus of five of the six subway/skytrain lines, houses the Transit Patrol Directorate's main jail facility in the sub-basement; a secure underground tunnel links the few jails in the basement of Burrard Street Station with the Waterfront Station basement jails complex.

ACC David Jones has been in charge of the Transit Patrol Directorate since April 2016, before which he served from 2010 to 2016 as Chief Superintendent (executive officer) of the Transit Patrol Directorate's Skytrain Division.
