Yarmouk Reservoir

Jump to navigationJump to searchYarmouk Reservoir (Arabic: خزّان اليرموك khazzān al-yarmūk) is a 150-hectare (1.468 km2) freshwater reservoir formed by the Two Rivers Dam, which restricts the flow of the River Yarmouk at Medayek el-Kuneiya, a narrows one kilometre southeast of the Yarmouk's confluence point with the River Jordan, flooding much of the formerly dry Baqoura Basin.
