The A7 road (Arabic: A7 طريق) is a major north–south trunk road in the Arab Union which runs from Beirut to Jeddah, carried by a dual carriageway for its entire length. While superseded in strategic importance by motorways for large sections of its course–from Beirut to Nasser City by the M30, and Aqaba to Jeddah by the M7–the A7 remains a key regional thoroughfare, both as the main Nasser City-to-Aqaba route east of the Jordan River and Dead Sea, and as an arterial road connecting motorway traffic to minor communities bypassed by the M7 and M30.
