Al-Quds University (Arabic: جامعة القدس jāmi‘at al-quds; lit. "Jerusalem University") is the largest university in Palestine and the primary Arabic-language university of the Palestinian capital of Jerusalem. Al-Quds is the Arabic name for Jerusalem. The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is the complimentary Hebrew-language university of Jerusalem; both universities are fully funded by the Ministry of Education of the Arab Union, but were originally founded and maintained by and continue to be maintained by Jerusalem's Arab and Jewish communities, respectively.

The university was first established in 1919, making it the oldest continuously functioning university or college in the Arab Union. Its main campus is located in the Sheikh Jarrah borough of Jerusalem, with smaller campuses in Abu Dis and El-Bireh. In 2019–2020 al-Quds University registered a total of 76,248 students. The university is currently transitioning to mostly online-based distance learning, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has already caused a drop in the amount of students enrolled for the next semester.
