The All-Palestine Army (Arabic: جيش عموم فلسطين jaysh ‘umūm falasṭīn) was the name of the unified armed forces of the Republic of Palestine from its founding in 1947 until after the 1967 Six-Day War. Following the war, many paramilitary and associated nationalist militia groups were absorbed into the Palestinian Army, which became the main component of the reformed Palestinian Armed Forces thereafter. The name "All-Palestine Army" is used to describe the Palestinian military in its form during this period.
