The Arab Air Reserve (Arabic: الاحتياطي الجوي العربي al-aḥtiyāṭī al-jawwī al-‘arabī) is the reserve component of the Arab Air Force, the aerospace warfare service branch of the Union Defence Forces, the regular military forces of the Arab Union. As of 2021, the Arab Air Reserve has a total of 174,450 personnel, almost 33,000 more members than the active service component of the Air Force; since the official formation of the Union Defence Forces in 1985, it has been consistent, standard policy of the federal government to maintain a reserve force at least as large in terms of manpower as its fellow active duty service component.
