Capilano Regional Municipality is one of five upper-tier municipalities within the Lower Mainland, a ceremonial county of the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC), which encompasses the metropolitan area of Vancouver, Canada's third-most populous city, making it BC's most populous and most densely populated region. Capilano Regional Municipality is the Lower Mainland's fourth-most populous regional Municipality, and its administrative seat and most populous city is North Vancouver.
