Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Council of Ministers (Arabic: مجلس الوزراء majlis al-wuzrā’) of the Qatari Arab Republic is the highest executive body of government at the republican level in Qatar. Chaired by the Premier of Qatar, the Council of Ministers has jurisdiction over the majority of the republic's domestic affairs. It oversees multiple ministries (executive departments), each responsible for a distinct area of public administration. Each member of the Council of Ministers chairs a particular ministry, and is formally appointed by the President of the Arab Union on advice of the Premier of Qatar.
